This fall, the Music and Arts Team is proud to present our first Open Mic Series Community Event!
Each event will be themed recognizing the overwhelming variety of gifts that we all have to share. Some events will serve as fundraisers and we hope all of them provide a deeper sense of community engagement and connection.
SEPTEMBER Theater Open Mic
Fri., Sep. 20, 7-9 p.m., Chapel
This event is part of a series presented by the Music and Arts Team this fall. Each Open Mic this year will be themed and open to the public. In September, we invite you toSign up to show off your thespian skills at UUCF’s first Theatrical Open Mic Night! Do you have a monologue or short scene you would like to share? Do you want to try a little improv or do a cold reading? Each entry should be no longer than 10 minutes, but can be much shorter. Use only one slot per performance, but you may sign up for multiple slots if you have more than one piece to present. The Theater Arts Coordinating Team (TACT) reserves the right to arrange the schedule or make cuts. This is a Family-friendly event, so choose your material wisely. This open mic is for theatrical pieces, not poetry, singing or other music. We will have other open mics this fall that will feature poetry and music. Stay tuned! Sponsored by TACT.
